SKINNY SPICY MARGARITA

INGREDIENTS

▢ 1 Lime Wedge ▢ ¼ cup Tequila Blanco ▢ 1 tbsp Orange Juice ▢ 3 tbsp Lime Juice ▢ 1 tsp Agave Syrup ▢ 3-4 Jalapeno Slices  ▢ ⅔ cup Crushed Ice

Preparing Salt

Place sea salt into a small shallow plate, wide enough to fit the diameter of your margarita glass.

Rub a Lime on Rim

Rub the rim of a margarita glass with a lime wedge to wet about 2-3 mm of the rim.

Dip Glass in Salt

Dip the rim into salt, moving in a circular motion to stick the salt to the wet part of the rim.

Freeze Glass

Place the prepared Skinny Spicy Margarita glass in the freezer for at least 20 minutes.

Combine Ice and Jalapeno

In a cocktail shaker, add jalapeno slices with 1/3 cup of crushed ice for your Skinny Spicy Margarita.

Muddle up

Muddle up the Skinny Spicy Margarita with a wooden spoon to release the spiciness from the jalapenos.

Add Cocktail Ingredients

Add tequila, freshly squeezed lime juice, orange juice, and agave syrup to the shaker.

Shake the Cocktail!

Close the lid of the shaker and shake the Skinny Spicy Margarita vigorously for 60 seconds.

Fill Glass

Remove the glass from the freezer. Fill it with 1/3 cup crushed ice and strain the cocktail over the glass into the prepared glass.
