Note 1: I am using soy protein puffs for the highest amount of protein, but you can also use quinoa puffed cereals for a high-protein, soy-free option. The nutrition panel is with soy puffs. Other puffed cereals like puffed rice work too, but they won't add protein.Note 2: I am using vanilla pea protein powder, with no added gums or added sugar. It has only 3 natural ingredients. Other protein powders, such as brown rice protein, for example, will absorb more moisture and change the ratio of peanut butter/maple syrup needed.Note 3: Any nut butter can be used, like almond butter, cashew butter, as long as it's a fresh jar with a drippy texture. Nut-free options are sunflower seed butter or tahini.Note 4: Or maple syrup, agave syrup, or any liquid sweetener you love.
