Instrukce
- Line a plate with parchment paper. Lightly oil with cooking spray. Set aside.
- In a food processor with the S blade attachment, add all the ingredients and process on medium-high until it comes together into a sticky, fudgy chocolate batter.
- You may have to stop the food processor, scrape down the sides of the bowl, and repeat to form a consistent batter. If too dry, add 1-2 teaspoons extra almond milk to help the food processor blend ingredients together. The batter should be sticky and fudgy.
- Pulse in dark chocolate chips if used.
- Oil hands with coconut oil, scoop out the batter with a small cookie dough scoop and roll the batter between oiled hands to shape bites.
- Repeat until no more batter is left, you should be able to form 12 brownie balls with the recipe.
- You can keep the balls with no toppings or roll each ball into melted dark chocolate. If so, place the plate with the energy balls in the freezer while melting the chocolate.
Čokoládová skořápka
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips and coconut oil until fully melted and shiny.
- Use two forks to dip the brownie bites into the melted chocolate then release on the prepared plate.
- Freeze the plate for 15 minutes or until the chocolate is hard. Serve with a pinch of sea salt flakes.

Přísady a náhražky
Let’s see the ingredients you need to make fudgy, melt-in-your-mouth chocolate balls without an oven!

- Mandlové máslo – You can also use peanut butter or any nut butter you love including fresh drippy cashew butter or sunflower seed butter for a nut-free option.
- Neslazený kakaový prášek
- Lněná mouka – This adds fiber and holds the no-bake brownie ball batter together.
- Javorový sirup – Other vegan, refined sugar-free sweetener options are agave syrup, rice syrup, or coconut nectar.
- Čokoládový proteinový prášek – I use pea protein powder. Depending on the powder you used, the texture of the no-bake brownie bites can be slightly dryer. Add a splash of almond milk if it gets too dry or difficult to blend.
- Neslazené mandlové mléko or any plant-based milk you love, like oat milk, rice milk, or coconut milk.
- Sůl – Optional, but it enhances the chocolate flavor of these no-bake brownie bliss balls.
- Vanilla
How To Make Brownie Protein Bites
Bliss balls, energy balls, or energy bites, whatever their name, are easy to make and ready in 20 minutes. The only important part of making delicious energy balls that are soft and consistent is to use a food processor.
In fact, the energy ball batter is thick and sticky, and the recipe is very messy if made in a blender. That is why you need to use a food processor. They have a larger bowl and removable blade that makes it easy to create soft, fudgy chocolate brownie balls. Then, the ingredients needed are simple pantry ingredients and no oil! This is an oil-free vegan recipe for sweet lovers!

- In a food processor, using the S-blade attachment, add all the brownie bites ingredients and process on medium-high speed (foto 1). Stop and scrape down the sides of the bowl if needed.
- Repeat until it forms a thick, sticky, rich fudge. If it is too dry, add a few extra teaspoons of almond milk to help the food processor combine the ingredients. If it is too wet, add a bit more flax meal or protein powder to dry out the mixture. Add the chocolate chips (foto 2).
- Use a small cookie dough scoop to form bites, roll them between your greased hands (foto 3), and release them onto a plate covered with parchment paper. Place the formed brownie energy bites in the freezer while melting the chocolate.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt dark chocolate chips and coconut oil. Use two forks to dip each brownie bite into the melted chocolate (foto 4), then release it on the prepared plate. Repeat until all brownie energy balls have been coated with chocolate. Place the plate in the freezer for another 15 minutes until the chocolate shells are hard.
Návrhy na podávání
Energy bites contain a good amount of rostlinný protein and carbs, which makes these perfect as a post-workout refuel or afternoon snack. Usually, one or two energy bites are very fulfilling and enough to keep your energy level high for the next meal.
I love them served on a mixed plate with Nízkokalorické proteinové kuličky, Energetické kuličky z mrkvového dortu, a Veganské proteinové kuličky. You can also dip them in Veganská šlehačka.
Why You’ll Love These Treats
There are so many reasons why these brownie balls are healthy vegan protein snacks for you. In fact, this recipe uses nuts, flax meal, and plant-based protein powder as the main ingredients. All are some of the highest protein-loaded plant-based ingredients which are essential to make your snack filling.
Plus, these brownie bites are so good and taste like a real treat so you feel like indulging. So these little vegan treats come in handy for these healthy snacks to reach all your nutrient goals! Finally, these fudge balls are refined sugar-free, grain-free, and gluten-free! This means they are healthy snacks for vegan paleo eaters.
Pokyny pro skladování
That is the great part about energy bites. They store for a very long time in the fridge. Usually, you can store these for up to 3 weeks in an airtight container in the fridge, but you will probably eat them all before that time! Another option is to freeze the balls and defrost them 1 hour before you expect to eat them.

Please give me a protein powder substitute.
I never use protein powder so in all your recipes (which are great) please always make sure you write a substitute for protein powder.
Díky
It’s difficult to ive a swap to protein powder in all recipes. Instead, I like to write a version without protein powder. For example, if you search my website for brownie bites, you will find tento recept that has no protein powder and taste similarly to the one you are commenting now. I hope it helps.
So good! Even kid approved! I didn’t coat them in chocolate but I added mini chocolate chips. thank you for the recipe. I used Truvani Vanilla protein powder (it’s what i had on hand) and they were delicious.
I forgot one more thing: I added a lot of chopped walnuts! Brownies need nuts!!
These chocolate brownie balls are really delicious! I used almond butter, agave for sweetener, chocolate plant based collagen for the protein and mini chocolate chips. Instead of dipping the balls in chocolate I rolled them in hemp seeds after first putting the balls in the fridge for a while so I could handle them better-they weren’t as sticky. These balls are a real treat. I made my balls a little smaller, so I ended up with 16. They are pretty rich so a little goes a long way! Great recipe!
Can you please advise me if the chocolate chips are mixed in using the blade in the food processor or if they are stirred in by hand
You can do both! It also depends on the size of your chocolate chips and if you like chunks or not. If your chips are large, definitely blend them. If they’re small and you like bites, you can blend half and incorporate half of them manually.
These look sooo good.
I was wondering if it would work with unflavoured pea protein powder? (May need some tweaking like add cocoa powder to it)?
Děkuji ☺️
Yes that would probably work fine
I want to make these without walnut and pecan since my kid is allergic. Can I only use almonds?
Absolutely, or you can also try sunflower seeds or sesame seeds.
Ahoj!
Would it work with hazelnuts instead of pecans?
jistý
Seen it on my phone and they look really good
děkuji!
They are really really tasty and super healthy. I am very happy that I found this recipe on your blog. It takes just few minutes to make such a delicious dessert and you feel like you are in Heaven.
Merci beaucoup pour votre effort!!!
