Diese einfach Gefrorene Schoko-Bananen-Häppchen are the healthiest frozen dessert you will ever make. These healthy chocolate banana bites taste like frozen banana snickers made with nourishing, wholesome ingredients to fuel your body with nutrients and energy.
I love making easy, healthy snacks and when summer comes, I usually make frozen treats for the times you need to cool down, like my Gefrorene Joghurtrinde, Kokosnuss-Eis am Stielden Eiscreme-Häppchen.
Frozen Banana Snickers are healthy bite-sized frozen desserts made of yellow banana slices, dipped into melted chocolate, and sometimes filled with peanut butter, peanuts, or date caramel. They taste like sweet frozen treats, without the added sugar or additives of store-bought banana frozen desserts.

- First, prepare one batch of my peanut butter date caramel recipe using the optional add-ons of 2 tablespoons peanut butter. Set aside in a bowl.
- Peel bananas and cut each banana into 4 even pieces/cylinders – scroll up in this post to see my step-by-step picture to guide you in this next step!

Zutaten und Substitutionen
You only need 5 simple, wholesome ingredients to make these banana snickers.
- Banana – The best are yellow Bananen. Ripe bananas work as well, but they can be mushy, and the banana bites won’t hold as well.
- Dunkle Schokoladenstückchen – I like chocolate chips with more than 70% cocoa.
- Geschmolzenes Kokosöl - Kokosöl is solid at room temperature and melts over 74°F (23°C).
- Erdnüsse – Crushed or whole.
- Spread of choice – can be peanut butter or my 2-ingredient date caramel spread recipe to make banana snickers bites.
How To Make Frozen Banana Snickers Bites (in Pictures)

Geschmack und Textur
To serve these banana bites, remove them from the freezer for 10 to 12 minutes before serving. This gives the banana flesh some time to soften and provides a melt-in-your-mouth ice cream-like texture.
These are soft frozen banana bites covered with a crunchy dark chocolate shell and filled with roasted peanuts and a sweet sticky date caramel in the center. They taste like frozen Snickers with a delicious banana flavor.
Aufbewahrungshinweise
These frozen banana bites can be stored in the freezer for up to 3 months in a sealed airtight container. Pop them out of the freezer 10 minutes before serving to soften the caramel filling.

Nährwertangaben

Spread Flavors
What I like the most about this easy frozen banana dessert is that there are many alternatives to create a range of flavorsome frozen chocolate banana bites. You can use one of the spreads below to create a range of flavors and also decrease saturated fat,
- Peanut butter – delicious and easy, but higher in saturated fat.
- Almond butter – the best swap for peanut butter to decrease saturated fat.
- Sunflower seed butter for a nut-free option.
- Date caramel paste – my favorite option, combined with peanuts, the frozen banana bites taste like a healthy version of frozen snickers.
- Babyjam
Crunchy toppings can also be various and different pick one or two of these to add on top of your spread:
- Knusprig geröstete Erdnüsse – whole or crushed.
- Mandelscheiben
- Kokosraspeln
- Meersalz

If you love banana recipes, I have plenty more for you to try. Pick one of the below recipes. They are all vegan, gluten-free, and good for you!

Hi Carine. There are some things that you should just never try. This recipe is one of them. Why? These are so addictive… one piece is not enough. I used your recipe as inspiration, topping the banana with almond butter, roasted almonds and himalayan pink salt before dunking them in 100% dark chocolate. The crack of the chocolate is extremely satisfying. Sooooo very good, yet so very bad (for my waist) at the same time. Thank you for posting this.
Du hast so recht
I am so excited to tr these! Waiting for them to freeze now. I used peanut butter, some walnuts, whole dates, sliced, and laid them on top of the peanut butter. I melted carob chips for the chochocolate sauce. They don’t look as pretty as yours but I can’t wait to try them. Thank you for the recipe!
