المكونات
- 1 كوب الشوفان الملفوف عتيق الطراز
- 2 ملاعق شيا البذور
- ¾ كوب حليب اللوز غير المحلى - or unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- ¼ كوب زبادي خالي من منتجات الألبان
- ¼ كوب جوز مفروم
- 2 متوسط الموز المهروس - equivalent 1/2 cup mashed bananas
- 1-2 ملعقة كبيرة شراب القيقب
- ½ ملعقة صغيرة قرفة
- 1 ملعقة صغيرة خلاصة الفانيليا

- 1 ملعقة صغيرة زبدة الفول السوداني (غير مملحة)

- In a large mixing bowl, combine the dry ingredients: rolled oats and chia seeds.
- Stir in almond milk, yogurt of choice, maple syrup, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and mashed banana. Stir until evenly distributed.
- Cover the bowl with a piece of plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.

- Store in airtight glass mason jars for up to 4 days or freeze for later. Thaw in the fridge the day before serving.
- The next day, serve your banana bread overnight oats with the recommended toppings.

- حليب اللوز – I prefer using either unsweetened almond milk or unsweetened vanilla almond milk. You can use any حليب نباتي في هذه الوصفة.
- الزبادي المفضل – The best for overnight oats is to use a slightly sour yogurt such as Greek yogurt. Any plant-based Greek yogurt work in this recipe.
- جوز مفروم – Walnuts are rich in antioxidants and omega-3 fatty acids, so I love to add them for more benefits.
- موز – There’s no banana bread without موز, so it’s a must-use in this overnight oats banana bread recipe. Measure them mashed.
- شراب القيقب – I love to use classic شراب القيقب, but you can use any liquid sweetener such as coconut nectar, agave syrup, rice malt syrup, or sugar-free maple syrup.
- قرفة – For a classic banana bread flavor.
- خلاصة الفانيليا – This is an optional flavoring that can be added for a perfect taste.

If you are allergic to any of the ingredients, you can make the following substitutions:
- حليب اللوز – You can use any plant-based milk such as soy milk, oat milk, or coconut milk.
- شراب القيقب – You can use any similar liquid sweetener such as agave syrup, coconut nectar, or sugar-free maple syrup.
- زبادي – Any yogurt works such as soy yogurt, coconut yogurt, almond yogurt, or cashew yogurt.

This is one of my favorite breakfasts! It’s so satisfying and delicious! My minor changes: I reduce the chia seeds by half, omit the cinnamon, and add nuts when I’m ready to eat it. Topped with sliced banana and a drizzle of peanut butter – so good!

This was my first go around for overnight oats and it was delicious. I used the almond milk, and regular vanilla yogurt. It had the sweetness to satisfy my sweet tooth and was creamy. For me it definitely is more then 2 servings. I can’t wait to try more of these recipes.
The recipe says 4 servings. It also says use 8 oz jars. When I made it, it only gave me 2-8 oz servings. Am I suppose put 1/2 cup each, into 4 – 8oz jars?
